Since the 2024 National Senior Certification (NSC) examinations kick-off, Higher{Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane, has reminded all matriculants to seize the chance to make an application for funding through the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
"The application window will close on 15 December 2024, and there are actually not many days left to post applications. Suitable learners are urged to apply immediately to secure money support for their post-school education," Nkabane said.
Nkabane extended well wishes to all matriculants, who sat for the National Senior Certificate Exams, with learners writing languages, English and Afrikaans Paper 3.
Nkabane mentioned this pivotal moment marks the fruits of several years of effort and encourages the Class of 2024 to approach their exams with dedication and assurance.
With Just over 880 000 candidates, including 727 121 full-time and 155,215 part-time candidates from throughout South Africa sit for this calendar year's matric examinations, throughout South Africa, Basic Education Minister, Siviwe Gwarube, nsfas status check has assured the general public of your department's mynsfas preparedness to administer the tests smoothly.
